Quick & Easy Morning Makeup
Since our everyday routine can be a bit lackluster, our complexion can
use a bit of a pick-me-up on those special occasions- but who has the
time?
When it comes to heading out to work, university or an early breakfast with friends- go for a flawless, illuminating makeup look to help you look a bit more put together. Using just 5 makeup products,
this is a foolproof way to achieve a beautiful makeup look within a
few minutes. These steps will enhance your features without looking
overly caked with makeup.
Step 1:
Prepare your skin to ensure that it’s full hydrated, toned,
moisturized and cleansed. Since the base of your makeup should be free
of any oil and dirt, using the right skincare regimen
is a must before you apply anything on your skin. If your skin leans
towards the oilier side, use a mattifying foundation primer all over
your skin. This will help your makeup last longer and look fresh
throughout the day.
Step 2:
Since you’re going for a natural look, skip out on using any sort of heavy foundation. Opt for a BB cream
or better yet mix in a few drops of your favorite moisturizer into your
foundation. This will sheer out your foundation for a lighter coverage.
If you still see any imperfections showing through, use a concealer to hide any spots, scars or discoloration. Now that your base is done, set it with a light translucent powder.
Step 3:
Add some color to your skin with a bright glowy blush.
A shimmery blush that highlights your cheeks can work as a highlighter,
try to avoid an overly glittery blush since it can look unnatural and a
bit tacky for a daytime look. A rosy blush with finely milt shimmer can
add a gorgeous glow to your complexion.
Step 4:
For your eyes, keep it simple with a black or brown eyeliner.
Focus on making your eyes look soft yet defined. Avoid using eyeliner
on your waterline since it can give a harsh appearance. Curl your lashes
and apply a lengthening mascara.
